Sotic sets its sights on growth as founder steps into new role as Chair

Leo Mindel, co-founder of Sotic, the UK’s leading sports digital agency, will step up into a new role as Non-Executive Chairman to its board of Directors.

A pioneer in the sports digital sector, Leo was actively involved in advising Football Clubs in setting up their first official websites in the mid-90s and co-founded Sotic with fellow sports enthusiast John Ludlam in 2002. Over the last two decades Leo has been instrumental in growing and supporting Sotic’s prestigious client base and steered the company’s move to cloud-based architecture in 2015.

After 20 years of running Sotic, 16 of those years with my greatly missed business partner John, and as the company is rapidly expanding outside of the UK, now is the time to start a new chapter. I have total confidence in the brilliant management team put in place by Kate Maunsell and am looking forward to offering strategic advice and support to complement their drive and ambition. - Leo Mindel
