Sotic have also announced the appointment of two existing members of staff to new roles.

Roland Mercer, who in the past worked for the Welsh Rugby Union and has worked with Sotic’s technical teams for over 12 years, brings a wealth of experience to his new role as Head of Operations, overseeing the company’s IT & operational output, whilst managing future technical developments through the company’s award-winning team based in Cardiff.

Jonathan McConnell, who has worked with Sotic for 15 years, takes on the new role of Head of Client Relationships, working directly with their existing roster of high-level clients including World Rowing, World Sailing, World Rugby, and The British and Irish Lions. His role will enhance Sotic’s already established support offering to ensure that clients are able to maximise the opportunities that the Sotic platform presents. He will also take the lead in introducing a development schedule for innovative new products based on current and future client requirements.

Further to their recent renewals with the likes of World Sailing, Irish Rugby Football Union, and European Professional Club Rugby, Sotic have added to their existing portfolio of clients, most noticeably with the signing of a multi-year agreement with World Rowing.
