World Sailing, the world governing body for the sport of sailing, has renewed its digital partnership with Sotic for a further 4 years.
Sotic has been working with World Sailing since 2007 and the four year partnership will see Sotic play a key role in helping the governing body realise its ambitious plans for digital transformation with a new World Sailing website and members portal developed and launched ahead of the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer.
World Sailing’s Director of Communications and Digital, Daniel Smith, said;
“World Sailing needs both a world-class digital platform that matches the position we hold as global governing body and which informs, engages and inspires millions more people to fall in love with sailing.
However, as a global sport with a global calendar, that almost runs 24/7, we also need to know that we can count on our digital provider to support us.
We are pleased to extend our relationship with Sotic as they have an excellent track record in delivering complex technical solutions. They understand the digital sports market as well as fan and user needs and provide excellent client support.”
Sotic’s Operations Director Kate Maunsell commented;
“We’re delighted to have renewed our successful partnership with World Sailing and look forward to continuing to work with them to transform their digital platforms.
At Sotic, we pride ourselves not just on our knowledge, technical skill and innovation but also on our ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients – testament to this, is the fact that the Tokyo Games this summer will mark our 4th Olympics with World Sailing.
Our unique position as their long-term provider, means we have the insight and depth of knowledge to really deliver on their goals to reach out to new audiences and initiate exciting, dynamic conversations with participants, partners and fans.”
