Digital Tournament Guide launched for Heineken Champions Cup
It’s Round 4 of the Heineken Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup this weekend and rugby media are gearing up for it with EPCR’s newly launched Digital Tournament Guide designed to assist them with their coverage of the tournaments.
Rugby players, coaches, fans and media are in the throes of European Rugby fever as we head in to Round 4 this weekend. Right now we’re at the halfway point in the pool stages but come Sunday evening we’ll have a much clearer idea of who is likely to make the knockout stages of Europe’s premier competitions, with ex international Andy Goode, writing for RugbyPass, describing Round 4 as ‘moving day’
“A bit like the third day of a major golf championship, Round 4 is ‘moving day’ in the Champions cup and will separate the men from the boys”
And speaking of good(e).. TeamSotic’s clients, Munster, Leinster and Ulster Rugby are all in strong positions.
Sotic have a long relationship with EPCR and in October we launched a new multilingual website for the tournament organisers which has recently been supplemented with a new multilingual Digital Tournament Guide.
Unfettered access for media
The guide is easy to access and packed full of club, player and statistical data. Rather than a heavy focus on graphical design, everything is laid out in a clear format in order to provide unfettered access to commentators, analysts, broadcasters, journalists, bloggers, statisticians and photographers, in order to assist them with their coverage of Europe’s major club rugby competitions.
With 20 fixtures taking place across England, Wales, Scotland, France, Italy and Ireland this weekend, Sotic will also be providing our usual level of match support service to EPCR to ensure that everything is running smoothly on the digital front.
