Day one of The Ricoh Women’s British Open is in full swing

The first day of one of the most international majors in Women’s Golf is in full swing at the Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club.

The Ricoh Women’s British Open is a part of the Ladies European Tour and is one of the golfing highlights of the sporting calendar with the 43rd Championship heading back to Royal Lytham for its fifth appearance at the iconic venue.

The Championship will see 144 players competing for a prize of £374,000.

British No. 1, Charley Hull will be hoping to give the home crowd something to cheer about, after coming close to winning her maiden major championship on several occasions but just falling short.

Sotic began working with the Ladies European Tour (LET) in early 2015 when they had recently refreshed their brand but needed Sotic to aid them with their functionality and reliability of their website.

The current site integrates with a number of live systems and databases and underwent a major rebuild when Swiss Timing was appointed. Sotic also ensures that the latest live scores and results are fed into the LET sites and are available to fans.
