‘Creative and Digital Business of the Year’ awarded to Sotic at the Cardiff Business Awards
Team Sotic are celebrating recent awards success having picked up the award for the ‘Creative & Digital Business of the Year’ at the Cardiff Business Awards on Friday evening.
This comes just a week after we were highly commended at the WalesOnline Digital Media Awards.
The Cardiff Business Awards event, held at City Hall and hosted by BBC journalist and presenter Sian Lloyd, celebrates the significant achievements of many of the Welsh capital’s foremost businesses from across a multitude of sectors.
With a full house of over 400 people, 21 awards were handed out. Team Sotic were delighted to come out on top in a hotly contested category where the judges were looking for creative and digital companies that have achieved growth and strong financial performance through innovation, exceptional customer experience and are focused on future business success.
In their fourth year, the Cardiff Business Awards recognised those companies and individuals who have had impressive success over the last year and have made an outstanding contribution both to their respective sectors and to the wider Cardiff economy itself.
Liz Brookes of Grapevine Events and co-founder of Cardiff Business Awards, said:
“A huge congratulations to this year’s winners as well as each of the finalists who are also recognised for their hard work and the success this has delivered for them. These companies are not only the pride of Cardiff, but they also are supporting the Welsh economy as a whole.”
Originally operating a small satellite office from a corporate box in the then Millennium Stadium, in 2017 we re-located our Head Office to the Welsh capital and we now employ 20 people at our James William House premises close to the museum and universities.
Sotic’s Operations Director Kate Maunsell commented;
“We’re absolutely thrilled to win this prestigious award, particularly given how competitive a category it was.
To be named Digital & Creative Business of the Year is a wonderful endorsement of the work we do here at Sotic and of the service we provide. We are delighted that the hard work and commitment of our staff has been acknowledged in this way.”
