Still all to race for in the OVO Energy Tour Series Grand Final

Still all to race for in the OVO Energy Tour Series Grand Final

Tomorrow is the Grand Final of this years OVO Energy Tour Series, with Salisbury hosting the finish, marking the first Wiltshire round in the Series’ history.

Sotic clients, Sweetspot Group, created The Tour Series to bring the UK’s biggest teams together and pits them against each other in a variety of city centre criterium races.

Each round of the Tour Series is held over one hour of racing plus five laps. The team standings for each round are calculated by adding together the positions of the top three riders of each team and the team with the lowest score wins, and get 10 points for the overall championship.

The 10th edition of the Tour Series kicked off on the 10th May in Redditch and will be concluded with a 1.2km circuit around Salisbury. Tomorrow’s race will see the riders starting and finishing adjacent to the Grade II listed Guildhall.

The final round of the elite cycling event promises to be an exciting showdown as the trophy is still up for grabs in both the Men’s and Women’s race, due to only a small amount of points difference between the top teams. Take a look at the full results list here.

Sotic have been working with Sweetspot Group since 2013 and also provide websites and digital support for The OVO Energy Tour of Britain, The OVO Energy Women’s Tour and Tour Ride.

The Women’s Race starts at 6pm tomorrow, with the Men’s Race at 8pm. You can find more information about tomorrow’s Grand Final on the Tour Series website.
