Sotic match support covering games from Tiblisi to Galway this weekend

Client Login Sotic match support covering games from Tiblisi to Galway this weekend Very roughly it’s around 5000km from Tiblisi in Georgia to Galway on the West Coast of Ireland and this weekend Sotic will cover rugby matches in both cities and everywhere in between as we support our client, European Professional Club Rugby through no less than 20 live rugby matches taking place all over Europe. (It is of course Connacht Rugby who play at The Sportsground in Galway and this weekend they’ll host French side Oyonnax while Russian team Krasny Yar host London Irish at the Avchala Stadium in Tiblisi, Georgia.) Yes, it’s make or break time for rugby clubs participating in European competition as we’ve reached the final pool stage, Round 6, of the Champions & Challenge Cup competitions which kicked off back on October. Leinster Rugby, another Sotic client, wrapped up their qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions Cup tournament in timely fashion last week with a thumping 55-19 win over Glasgow Warriors to put them top of Pool 3. However there are still 7 more places up for grabs – another 4 spots for the pool winners and 3 spots for the best-placed runners-up. In the Challenge Cup competition which runs alongside the Champions Cup, there are six clubs who have already booked their places in the last 8, including Sotic clients Gloucester Rugby and Cardiff Blues. You can follow all the action this weekend, as it happens, around all the grounds, on the EPCR Live Blog More from the Latest Sotic match support covering games from Tiblisi to Galway this weekend...

Summer Review featuring Leeds Rhinos, Ireland 2023, Tour of Britain, Guinness PRO14, British & Irish Lions

Client Login Summer Review featuring Leeds Rhinos, Ireland 2023, Guinness PRO14 & British & Irish Lions So, summer is officially over, at least here at Sotic, signalled by the commencement of competitive rugby union with both the Aviva Premiership and the new-look Guinness PRO14 competitions kicking off last Friday. Here’s a look back at some of the projects we have been working on over the summer. Over the summer months the Guinness PRO12 became PRO14 with the addition of two South African clubs, the Cheetahs and the Kings. We undertook work to effectively re-brand the website, create content sections for the two new clubs, and re-mastered the fixture list, league table and live areas of the site to adopt the conference style set-up of the new league as well an extra match each weekend. We also revamped the match pages on the site (see here for an example) the Overview, Preview, Report, Live and Performance Stats, improving layout and increasing the amount of information available for users. The beginning of September also sees the annual Tour of Britain cycling event take place. This multi-stage competition features some of the world’s top riders and is part of the UCI’s Europe Tour. Sotic have been working with The Tour since 2013 and fans can follow each stage of the event live on their website until the big finish this Sunday in Cardiff, just 300 yards from the Sotic Office. The 2017 British & Irish Lions tour was Sotic’s third as digital partner to the Lions and while the first match was played on the 3rd June, it was a culmination of...
