Your club Your Lions Project Unveiled

Client Login Your Club Your Lions Project Unveiled The British & Irish Lions have unveiled a unique interactive map which showcases the relationship between the iconic touring team and the club game. Your Club Your Lions features every Lion from the first Tour in 1888 to the 2013 series in Australia – an online library of 807 players. By exploring satellite and streetmap imagery, fans can discover which Lions played for any of over 550 clubs in 16 countries and can browse the rugby heartlands across Britain and Ireland using the map as a gateway to some of the more unusual stories in Lions history, from the legends of the early Tours to Lions who have gone on to play club rugby in far flung destinations from Vancouver to Croatia. Your Club Your Lions has been a major co-operative project and we’ve worked with the Lions as well as SFMS their statistics partner to develop this unique portal that showcases the unique global footprint of the Lions. The Your Club Your Lions project will continue with new research and – of course – the addition of the 2017 Lions ahead of the Tour to New Zealand while Lionsrugby.com will feature clubs every week. Client Login From Rio to Loughborough – Sotic supporting elite sport Just a couple of weeks ago we were supporting World Sailing and the Ladies European Tour and their elite level participants at the Olympic Games in Rio… this weekend it’s the turn of the youngsters at the 2016 School Games. We’re working with the School Games providing digital support for their 2016 event which is taking place this weekend at Loughborough University and which will involve over 1600 of the nation’s finest young sports stars. Competition is held in a total of twelve current and future Olympic and Paralympic sports: Athletics, Cycling, Fencing, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Rugby Sevens, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Tennis.
